Community Workshops

Community groups, further education settings and nursing homes are benefitting from workshop facilitation to increase the skills and enhance the lives of their members. Depending on individual circumstances and needs, these workshops are flexible in both their structure and delivery which can be one-to-one or in a group setting.

Details on the different types of community workshops offered are below.

  • This course has been designed to help people grow their confidence and ability using technology in day-to-day life. Basic skills are taught in a calm, friendly and informal environment.

    Through a series of group or one-to-one workshops, learners will be introduced to the ways technology can enhance their lives and how to use it to keep in touch with friends, family and perform everyday tasks such as shopping and watching videos.

    These workshops are especially suited to individuals in nursing homes, residential care or assisted living facilities. They have also been run in community centres and public library settings to great success.

English as a Foreign Language Classes

We provide in-person classes hosted at your home, place of work or local coffee shop.

The teaching style is flexible for your individual needs. General English, Business English, Interview Preparation and Techniques, or just Casual Conversation Practice are all offered.

Students are engaged in practice scenarios for real world situations in the lessons and are provided with goals for to work on for the next lesson.

Each student receives a personal shared Google Docs file which is updated after each lesson with what has been discussed, new vocabulary, and how you are working towards your personal English language goals!
