I am an enthusiastic Adult and Community Education Tutor who specialises in teaching the fundamentals of academic research and writing, digital skills and other academic and community-based workshops.
I am currently studying for a Master of Education in Adult and Community Education in Maynooth University. I also hold a First Class Honours degree in English and Psychology from Atlantic Technological University, Sligo. Upon graduation I was awarded the Governing Body Award for Academic Achievement. In addition, I hold QQI Level 6 qualifications in Training and Development and in Coaching.
I have presented at academic conferences and guest lectured on the Psychology of Learning and Wider World Literature modules of the BA (Honours) English and Psychology programme in ATU as well as the Greek Theatre module of the BA (Honours) Writing and Literature programme.
Currently, I am in collaboration with Mayo Sligo and Leitrim Education and Training Board (MSLETB), Sligo Leader and Sligo LCDC with various educational delivery projects as well las conducting a research project exploring the impacts of my Digital Skills practice in the community.
